Apparently I’m not the only one who was a little bewildered by Oscar’s love of that dumb Hard Out There for a Pimp song.  Al Sharpton vented similar views on Hardball last night, and this article by Ru Freeman says it better than I could.

While the blogosphere has provided me with a small sense of vindication, it also reminds me how utterly banal my opinion is.
