Life is so good on some days 
The Venture Brothers Season 4 trailer has come out, and the new season promises the return of David Bowie and a frazzled Rusty Venture from the future, among many other great things. Can’t wait til November…

Season 3 of the kickass Venture Bros. is out today, go buy it. It is currently tied, in my judgment, with “Tim and Eric Awesome Show Great Job” as the best show on television. And, like TEASGJ, it sinks deeper into its own twisted universe more and more with each progressive season.
This 3rd season is frikkin’ literary — the plots and characters have become more and more intriguing and hilarious. I’m on the edge of my seat for season 4 — what will become of Brock Samson?!?

The New York Times is staying on the case of the coming War Between Man and the Brotherhood of the Machine (hat tip to The Venture Bros. for the term). The latest development is the serious concern being registered over “Conficker”, a nasty computer virus that enlists the PCs it infects in a massive, distributed computer “known as a botnet”.
The brightest lights of I.T. have been assembled to thwart Conficker, but apparently this program is living up to the “viral” moniker — it has mutated to stay one step ahead of its predator.
It’s only a matter of time until it evolves into full-blown, sci-fi self-awareness. Skynet, or the Borg, or the “Hive Mind” will be in charge at last.
And I’m okay with that. I’m not so crazy about homosapiens; we’re nothing but trouble.
